Who's behind MAKE healthy normal?

More than 52% of adults in NSW are either overweight or obese. That means it's 'normal' for around half the state's population to carry extra kilos that can lead to serious illness like heart disease, stroke, cancer and type 2 diabetes.

It's a problem that not only compromises our health, it reduces our quality of life and costs the state of NSW over $19 billion a year.

NSW Health launched the Make Healthy Normal campaign to challenge our current perceptions of what is normal, and provide simple and effective solutions to help us make healthy choices and create a new, healthy normal.
